Southwestern University, Georgetown, TX 2007-Present
Part-Time Assistant Professor
· Promoted to Assistant Professor beginning fall of 2011.
· Expanded responsibilities include teaching fundamentals of solfege/ear training.
Voice Instructor
· Teach weekly individual half-hour and one-hour voice lessons to an average of 15-25 undergraduate students of all voice types per semester, including both music performance and education majors and non-music majors.
· Incorporate voice science, acoustic analysis, and vocal anatomy/physiology in pedagogical approach.
· Instruct students in vocal technique, musicianship, languages and diction, stage deportment, and interpretation of vocal literature.
· Collaborate with applied voice faculty to teach weekly combined studio master class.
· Prepare undergraduate music majors for juries, barrier exams, and degree recitals.
· Musically prepare students for leading roles in opera and musical theater productions, as well solo concert performances.

Private Voice Instructor
· Taught weekly individual and group half-hour voice lessons to students in grades 6-12.
· Worked with adolescent male and female students to develop strategies for successful negotiation of vocal registration.
· Developed an applied curriculum that included studies in vocal anatomy and acoustic analysis of the singing voice.
· Integrated instruction in musicianship, language, diction and interpretation.
· Assigned and prepared repertoire for UIL All-State Choral Competition and Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contests (TSSEC).

· Spearhead development activities, including grant writing and donor relations.
· Cultivate relationships with community organizations that offer pro bono legal and financial services.
· Recruit and supervise team of three student interns working in marketing, artist/donor relations, and graphic design positions each semester.
